Let's say you have a Roastable named "High Voltage" in your active list of Roastables.
Once you have dialed in your roast profile, you may opt to use it as reference in RoastLogger during subsequent roasts. Here are the steps to take once the "best" profile has been identified:
Flag the roast by clicking the star icon next to name of the roasted batch from the Inbox (Figure 1) or within the Roast detail page (Figure 2).
Within the RoastLogger application (Figure 3), navigate to the roast queue and add a batch. In the reference profile list, select the starred profile you'd like used as the reference for that particular batch.
Note: It is possible to change reference profiles during roasting. Simply navigate from the active roast view to the roast queue page. Find the roast "in progress" and use the reference profile selector to select your new reference profile.

Over time, your reference profiles will likely need to be updated; as new crops become available or due to seasonality. To make this change, simply un-star the original roast, star your new one open your roasting queue in RoastLogger Online.
