Goal: Learn how the RoastLog web platform and RoastLogger application work together to manage your business.

Prerequisites: You have signed up for a RoastLog account.

Before going deeper, it's important that you understand our platform's structure, which consists of two main components that work seamlessly together.

roastlog.com (Web Platform)

https://roastlog.com is your central hub for managing your business. It's where you'll:

  • Track your green coffee inventory

  • Create and manage roastables (your finished products)

  • Access reporting and analytics

  • Manage team members

Think of roastlog.com as your business command center β€” it's where all your data lives and where you make strategic decisions about your roasting operation.

RoastLogger (Roast Recording Application)

RoastLogger is our dedicated application for capturing real-time roast data. It's available in two formats:

  • Web-based version at roastlogger.online (for Phidgets users)

  • Downloadable desktop application (for Loring, Sivetz, and other direct-connection roasters)

RoastLogger connects directly to your roasting equipment to record temperatures, track rate-of-rise, and capture the perfect profile for every batch you roast.

How They Work Together

When you record a roast in RoastLogger, that data automatically syncs with your RoastLog.com account. This integration means your inventory is automatically updated, your roast history is preserved, and your quality control data stays connected to specific batches.

You'll use the same login credentials for both platforms, making the experience seamless as you move between business management and actual roasting.
