attempting to add "roastable" to use software, etc

scott vore Oct 09, 2011 03:31AM PDT

i am attempting to add a 'roastable' inorder to use all that i have purchased from you- the website asks for 'component' as a required field. the website wont respond when i click in the component field or allow any input whatsoever but still requires this 'info'??? at this point, the software, hardware is rendered useless and i move on for second weekend to roast without that which i am paying dearly for.

Hi Scott,

Sorry this is not more clear. After you input a coffee into the system, it needs to be "moved" from a non-roasting facility into a roasting facility. This was designed for roasteries who store coffee at external warehouses and have coffee stored both onsite and offsite.

To perform a "move":

- Go to the mail inventory page: http://roastlog.com/inventory/
- Select the beans which you'd like to roast and are located in a non-roasting facility by selecting the checkbox next to their names.
- Click the "Move Inventory" button.
- Select the number of bags of coffee you're moving and hit the "Save" button.

After those steps, there will be a roastable created for each bean you've moved. You'll also be able to create other roastables from the same beans.
